I hope your new year is off to a great start and wish you all nothing but good health and success in 2022! As you’ll see below, we finished 2021 strong and as a Group finished at $97 million in total sales on a plan of $86.5 million—which in round numbers is $1 million more than 2020! Congratulations to all on a great year and thank you for all the business you shared with us. It has allowed us to enter 2022 with a record backlog of orders.

I am also happy to report that we are making substantial progress with our hiring of shop personnel based on our new wage rates that I touched base on last month, as well as some increased focus on proactive recruitment and community engagement.

We have so much more to share with you regarding our 2021 results and plans for 2022 during our next Virtual Principals Meeting on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST. Spacesaver Scorecard

The final buzzer has sounded on 2021 and the results are in—and what an amazing year the team put together! As a Group, we reached about 107 percent of our incoming order quota with 22 individual PARs exceeding their annual target…with half of those exceeding 125 percent. Patterson-Pope set a new all-time high, booking more than $18 million (107 percent of quota). Did you hear that…$18 million!! Not to be outdone, Diversified Storage Solutions cracked the $10 million barrier (233 percent of quota), Southwest Solutions Group hit nearly $9 million (100 percent of quota), and Bradford Systems was just shy of $8 million (118 percent of quota). StorageLogic took the percent of quota belt, submitting over $2.7 million in new orders, which is 271 percent of their goal. Shine Success took the international title, with 472 percent of quota and Spacesaver Solution (Ontario) grabbed the Canadian revenue crown with more than $2.1 million in new orders. What a fantastic year by the entire Spacesaver Group!

We did equally as well with shipments, having 17 PARs exceed their quotas—12 of which were over 125 percent—pushing our Spacesaver Group total to nearly 111 percent of our company quota. Leading the way were Midwest Storage Solutions, with more than $2.6 million shipped for 175 percent of quota, StorageLogic with 151 percent ($1.5 million), and Interior Solutions at 147 percent ($1.6 million). Top line revenue leaders were Patterson-Pope ($15.3 million, 91 percent), Southwest Solutions Group ($7.9 million, 89 percent), Bradford Systems ($5.5 million, 82 percent), and Systems & Space ($4.3 million, 123 percent). As with incoming orders, shipments saw Shine Success as the international quota champion (471 percent) and Spacesaver Solutions was the international revenue leader ($1.8 million, 101 percent).

We have certainly built up momentum heading into this year. Let’s stay energized and beat our previous best!
