April 2025

Spacesaver Group,

I hope this message finds you well and energized! We are over a quarter of the way through 2025 and well on our way to hitting our targets. As we continue to strive towards our goals, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the incredible power of consistency and effort in our daily tasks and how these qualities directly impact our sales performance.

Every day, each of you displays an unwavering commitment and dedication – whether it’s in reaching out to clients, following up on leads, or closing deals – that drives our success. Remember, it’s not just about the big wins, but it’s also about the small, constant actions that build momentum and lead us to those victories.

Consistency is key. By staying focused and maintaining a steady pace in our activities, we create a rhythm that helps us stay on track and achieve our targets. It’s the daily grind, the persistent follow-ups, and the continuous effort that set us apart from the competition. Each call, email, and meeting add up, paving the way for our overall success.

Effort, on the other hand, reflects our passion and determination. It’s about going the extra mile, pushing through challenges, and never giving up. Your hard work and perseverance inspire not only your teammates but also our clients, fostering trust and long-lasting relationships.

So, let’s keep up the great work! Let’s continue to put in our best effort every single day, knowing that consistency and dedication are the cornerstones of our sales performance. Together, we can achieve remarkable results and reach new heights.

Thank you for your commitment and hard work,

Laurel Harrison

Spacesaver Scorecard

The first quarter of 2025 is in the books, and the momentum from 2024 has carried into this year, putting us in a great position as we head into spring. The Group is setting a very consistent pace for incoming orders, hitting 98% in March to keep the team at the same YTD combined total (98%). With 17 PARs exceeding their monthly incoming order quota – led by Patterson Pope Florida with over $1.1M (344%) entered – we now have 12 PARs on pace to surpass their bookings quota for the year. StorageLOGIC holds a commanding lead at 381% YTD quota, but 5 others are all over 150% YTD:

  • Spacesaver Specialists – 285%
  • Donnegan Systems VT/NH/ME – 250%
  • Bradford Systems Wisconsin – 184%
  • Patterson Pope Florida – 165%
  • Southwest Solutions Group KS/W MO – 161%

The Group is doing even better with shipments, invoicing over $10M in March (102%) and establishing 104% YTD through the first quarter (averaging over $10M/month). Patterson Pope exceeded $4M (217%) in March, leading the team of 16 PARs over their monthly quota. After the first quarter, we have 20 PARs over their YTD quota, with 6 over 150% – led by Interior Solutions NM/El Paso at 456% (already over their annual quota) – and 16 that are over 125%. A great start to the year for The Group!

Let’s keep the foot on the gas and continue setting the standard of excellence that separates us from the rest! Remember, “Winning is a temporary achievement… Greatness is winning consistently.”

Let’s stay great!

DELIVERing The Win

The Cream of The Cobb

Needing dependable shelving to house docket books and court records stored in Bankers Boxes, administrators at Cobb County contacted Josh Kopsie, Area Market Manager at Patterson Pope (P2), with whom they’ve partnered on several projects, to visit the space and offer support. Upon arrival, Josh evaluated their space and developed a customized solution for their needs. However, once the county saw how much it was going to cost (even when utilizing our Sourcewell contract), they decided to put the project out for bid.

Knowing this now meant there could be “competition” from Montel for the project, the teams at Spacesaver and P2 – comprised of Josh, Ben Gold, Tim Young, Chris Overcash, and Craig Shaw at P2; and Mark Haubenschild, Laurel Harrison, Noah Kuesel, and Phil Cloute at Spacesaver – were determined to secure the win. The cohort peered through the initial proposal to identify what was needed and what could be eliminated – including canopy tops and kickplates – to offer the best price for our industry leading solutions.

“We are competitive static to static when the end users are looking for something specific out of the shelving,” said Phil Cloute of Spacesaver. “The difference is the direct attention the end user gets from us and the amount of care our local reps put into the project. We help them throughout the process, while others just deliver a product without the service and support.”

When the dust settled on the bid process, our offering stood above the rest, and the more-than-$400k net project was set into production. The installation is expected to be completed in August of this year.

“It was just a really great collaborative effort, and you could tell we were going to do what it took to beat the competition,” said Craig Shaw of P2. “Both teams took the time to thoroughly look over everything and were laser focused on what they could do to increase and improve our position on this project.”

Major Projects

Tennessee State Museum

Looking to outfit its new, state-of-the-art storage facility developed to house Tennessee’s more than 140,000 historical artifacts, artwork, and other culturally significant items from flags to mummies, administrators at the Tennessee State Museum reached out to their local Spacesaver consultant – Paul Myers of Patterson Pope (P2) – for support. Knowing the scope of the project, Paul partnered with Steve Pyne and Joe Leibfried of our Major Projects Team to work with the end user to identify the specific storage solutions they would need to house a wide array of artifacts, and Nick Leikness and Bryan Schut to facilitate the installation.

This more than $1.1M net project was broken into nine total zones and incorporated our High-Density Mobile Shelving, Art Racks, museum cabinets, 4-Post shelving, and Cantilever shelving, as well as buyout pallet racking and Widespan units that were used in the mezzanine above Zones 8 & 9. There are also engineered-to-order (ETO) components in the cabinets and the 12” deep Nantucket drawers – which were a first for Spacesaver – used with 4-Post shelving in Zone 9. Zone 1 also featured 4-Post shelving, which was utilized as art bin storage.

The installation was completed in January 2025. At time of writing, the museum is in the process of transferring their current collections, and with these innovative and efficient solutions in place, has room for future growth.

INVEST. ALIGN. DELIVER.

Throughout Q1, the A&D team held strategy meetings with each Area Contractor to review Dodge and SpecLive data for firms in their PAR. These discussions were insightful and productive in that they uncovered ways The Group could best utilize the information and actionable next steps to pursue. Special recognition to Interior Solutions for developing a detailed plan – in collaboration with Spacesaver’s A&D Specialist, Teresa Delgado – for their team to nurture target firms across AZ and NM and ensure local architects know exactly who to call for storage needs, spec assistance, and more. Thank you, Aaron Harden, and Scot Wilcox for going above PAR!
